Floyd N. Haynes is the Founder and Chairman of New Hayven Merchant Bank, he is a Guyanese born professional with 30+ years of senior- management and executive-level experience as a business leader.  Mr. Haynes is Certified Public Accountant who holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and a M.Sc. in financial economics.  He is an adjunct Professor in Finance, and Accounting and a Public lecturer in leadership.  Recently served as an advisor to the Government of Guyana on the development of framework for the effective participation of local firms in the oil and gas industry.

Mr. Haynes also founded Haynes Inc., a Washington based Accounting and Management Consulting firm that has provided  financial and accounting support to several multibillion dollar organizations operating in over 100 countries.  He oversaw the development and implementation international payment processing systems that connected over 100 foreign banks disbursing funds in multiple foreign currencies.   He managed the payment processing of over 10 billion dollars annually and lead various teams that provided due diligence support for multi-million dollars mergers and acquisition deals.  Mr. Haynes also directed operations for audit and oversight of the two largest housing finance organizations: The Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac).

In addition, Mr. Haynes  over 20 years providing portfolio management advice, developing  investment strategies for high net worth individuals, and  providing high level project valuation and analysis  to inform investment decisions.
